Two buses crashed in the well known Theater District of New York City yesterday, August 5th, 2014. The buses were both double-decker tour buses with passengers aboard. Fortunately none of the injuries were reported to be life threatening, according to the FDNY, however three of the thirteen injured victims were considered “serious injuries”.
The cause of the NYC bus crash, which took place during the day, is still unknown. The stretch of the road, on Seventh Avenue and 47th Street in Manhattan, New York City, which is usually full of theater goers and tourists, shut down for part of the day.
An eye witness states that one of the buses crashed into a telephone pole but the rest of the details are still under investigation.
