Liability In Hawthorne Pedestrian Accidents
Every driver has a legal responsibility to operate their vehicle in a reasonably safe manner and take steps to avoid causing accidents. A disproportionate number of car accidents are caused by drivers that are speeding. Depending on the prevailing conditions of the road a driver may need to slow down below the posted speed limit.
Any person that is injured in a pedestrian accident may have legal recourse through a bodily injury claim. Damages in a civil claim can help cover lost wages, medical bills and pain and suffering. A car accident attorney can examine all of the facts of your case and let you know what your legal options are. There are, however, statute of limitations associated with filing a civil claim. It is therefore important to act quickly.
