Pedestrian Critically Injured In Long Island Car Accident Along New York Avenue
LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK (March 20, 2020) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a car accident along New York Avenue.
New York Police Department officials are saying that the accident took place around 7:30 p.m. For reasons that remain under investigation a pedestrian was hit by a 1993 model truck.
An ambulance was called to the scene of the accident in order to help the victim. They were airlifted to the Stony Brook Hospital in order to receive treatment.
An investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
