Pedestrian Killed In Queens Car Accident Along 57th Avenue By Van Horn Street
QUEENS, NEW YORK (March 22, 2020) – A pedestrian has tragically died in a car accident by 57th Avenue and Van Horn Street.
New York Police Department officials are saying that the collision occurred around 11:00 a.m. For reasons that remain under investigation a woman was hit as a vehicle was turning on the street.
The force of the impact knocked the woman to the ground leaving her with severe injuries. Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim.
Despite life-saving measures she later died due to her injuries.
