One Person Killed In Woodmere Car Accident By Peninsula Boulevard and Lafayette Drive
WOODMERE, NEW YORK (March 22, 2020) – One person was injured in a car accident near the intersection of Peninsula Boulevard and Lafayette Drive.
New York Police Department officials are saying that the collision occurred around 6:55 p.m. For reasons that remain under investigation two vehicles collided at the intersection.
The force of the impact pushed one vehicle into a tree. Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. Despite life-saving measures one person died due to their injuries.
An investigation remains ongoing at this time.
